What happens when the creators of Tenchi Muyo watch Evangelion? You get a surprisingly bland flavorless paste that is not all together unpleasant, but leaves little (if any) impression.

Dual! Parallell Trouble Adventure is a parallell paradox, harem, sci-fi, mecha anime. However, it seems to generally blend the most common middle of the road ingredients from these genres. That being said the adventures of Kazuki Yotsuga do have some small amount of entertainment value to them, and the final paradox at the end of the series is fairly intriguing.

The art in Dual is a mix of Tenchi Muyo character design (doesn't Kazuki look familiar?), and eva mecha design. The enemies in Dual looked very similar to the 3rd Angel from Evangelion, right down to the color scheme. The music was adequate neither good nor bad, with the exception of the OP which was fairly awful.

All in all Dual would make an ok rental for you on a lazy weekend, if you've already seen everything else at the video store. However, unless you are the world's biggest fan of the creators of Tenchi I could not recommend and might even laugh and ridicule you for buying it.
