Ahh manga. What can I say about manga. Besides that Mayama and I own a whole lot of it. And it's rapidly accumulating. I have to admit, a year and a half ago when I was given my first manga I was both confused and intrigued by it. Now...well....it's nicer than books without pictures I guess. I admit that I see manga as a supplement to anime still. I'm still not at the point where I can glean complex characterizations or emotions from the words and pictures on the page, but it does keep me entertained. Manga's one of my favorite past times too. I mean, I think of all the days/evenings that we spent sitting in one of the various bookstores reading their manga with no one seeming to care. That's the thing about it....you can easily read a volume or two in one sitting. So....when your house doesn't have air conditioning.......just go read someone ELSE'S manga...that's what I think.
Alright...this intro hasn't been nearly as stellar as the others. Mostly because I don't know what to say about my manga reviewing. And by that I mean....I don't. I generally read manga, then watch the anime and comment on that. I find that a lot of the manga I read really just overlaps with the series. I guess I do have some things that are operated strictly as a manga only project at this point....but, not many. I'll do what I can I guess. Including re-writing this section when I don't sound so lame.
The only way to fix this is to leave you with a quote from Madarame: "Alright! I'll take this as far as I can. Into divine domains......."
PS. If you want REAL anime reviews go here and for SCANS!! and reviews go here. If you don't like shoujo, yaoi, or shounen-ai then you won't really are about a lot of what I read. Not that I think I'll be reviewing many of these, but my primary focus with manga is yaoi and shounen-ai manga......that's where the good stuff comes from. Drawings of beautiful boys getting on beautiful boys....that's the Yukino world. Also...look forward to when Mayama reviews the manga cause he's an english teacher and actually writes coherent and generally analytical reviews. I mostly just giggle and write down quotes.

Links to the sites for series reviews. Some are partial and written before I read the whole series...I'll update as I feel. Others are done volume by volume as Mayama and/or I decide to do a "featured manga" (a la Beck...which is the only one we've done so far and we kinda just stopped. Just check the dates for the most recent info...if something's changed within the last month I'll put a *NEW INFO* flag by it. Feel free to leave us comments/criticizms/derogatory remarks at our shiny guestbook! But be forewarned, if you're mean I'll get annoyed and you'll have to face the wrath of Yukino....and I don't think you want to do that.
